Why I’m Running 10K for CALM
On 30 August, I’ll be running a 10K for a cause that means a great deal to me: CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
Mental health and wellbeing are topics I have always been passionate about. Like many people, I have seen how mental health challenges can affect lives. I believe it is so important to have open and honest conversations, to check in on each other, and to support organisations doing real, meaningful work in this area.
CALM is an incredible charity focused on suicide prevention and providing life-saving support to anyone who is struggling. They work tirelessly to help people feel less alone and more able to speak up, and their message truly resonates with me.
Running is something I genuinely enjoy. I run three to four times a week, usually covering 5K each time, either on my own or with different clubs around London. Taking part in this 10K is another opportunity to do what I love while supporting a cause I believe in.
If you would like to support me, whether by making a donation or even by joining the run, I would be incredibly grateful.
Together, we can raise awareness and make a real difference.💙

Hey lovely, I just want to say how proud I am of you for stepping up and putting your energy into such a meaningful cause. What you’re doing goes beyond just raising awareness or funds — you’re bringing hope, kindness, and light into places that need it most. That takes courage, compassion, and a big heart — all of which you have in abundance. Even on the days when it feels tough, remember that every step you take is making a difference. You’re inspiring people, more than you realize, and showing that real change starts with people like you who care enough to act. Keep going, you’ve got this and I’m cheering for you every step of the way! 🤍✨
