I'm fundraising for...

This year I’m taking part in [mo]re than a run, a powerful community-led movement that uses running as a tool to support mental health and prevent suicide. On the final Saturday of November, thousands of us across cities in Australia, New Zealand and beyond will be lacing up for this important cause. Every step I take and every dollar you donate helps fund the life-saving work of Movembe. Please support me if you can. Let’s make every stride count.

About Me & My Journey

Friday 31st Oct
Hey Guys, for those who don’t know me, I’m Jacob.

A cameraman. Fitness freak. Driven human. But like I said, also human.

Growing up, I’ve never really had a thorough understanding of Mental Health as a topic, because I never thought it would be something that would affect me.

Then it hit me.

This year has probably been the hardest year for myself for a number of different reasons, which pushed me to some dark places. Not knowing who or if I should ask for help, because thats the stigma that has been placed on me, as a man.

I’m taking part in this fundraiser to not only raise funds to a good cause, but to break this lingering thought that asking for help, or speaking up makes you weak.

It’s okay to be vulnerable. It’s okay to show emotion. Because your Strength develops through the Struggle.
