More than a Pub Crawl
This Saturday I’m running 30km to 10 different pubs around Tauranga for the More Than a Run fundraiser — and yes, I’ll be having a pint at each stop.
When I lived in Edinburgh, I ran to over 150 pubs, having a drink in each one as part of a challenge. It was messy, fun, and probably not something I’d recommend to anyone with common sense. Tauranga is a bit more spread out when it comes to pubs though, so this time the running part will do most of the damage.
I’ll be joined by my dog Flynn, who’ll trot along beside me. He’s Muslim, so he won’t be drinking anything himself.
This run is all for a good cause, raising money and awareness through the More Than a Run campaign.
