YLRC x VRC together for Movember

YLRC × VRC — MORE THAN A RUN 2026

Two run clubs. One community. One important cause.

This year, YLRC × VRC are coming together for MORE THAN A RUN - bringing people together through COMMUNITY, CONNECTION & CAUSE.

We’ll be moving as one for 60 MINUTES, a symbolic time goal representing the 60 men who die by suicide every hour around the globe. Every step is a chance to start a conversation, check in on a mate and remind someone they’re not alone.

📍 WHERE: Darley St Local, Shellharbour Village

⏰ KEY TIMES

  • 6:45 AM — Meet, pre-run briefing & group photo

  • 7:00 AM — Run starts

  • 7:30 AM — Turnaround

  • 8:00 AM — Run finishes

  • 8:15 AM — Hydration by Red Dragon Nutritionals, recovery by P3 Shellharbour, plus coffee, food & good chats at Darley St Cafe

  • 8:40 AM — Movember prize raffle draw

🏃‍♂️ THE PLAN: An out-and-back route towards Bass Point. At 30 minutes, wherever you are on course, we turn around and head back. The goal? To collectively finish together at the 60-minute mark.

No pace goals. No one left behind. Just good people, good energy and a cause that matters.

Bring your friends and crew, bring your energy! Let's show what happens when our running community comes together for something bigger than ourselves.

COMMUNITY. CONNECTION. CAUSE.

MORE THAN A RUN. LET'S MOVE AS ONE.

It’s about the cause while on the course

Your local run club is lacing up for this year’s More Than a Run event because we believe every step can spark change. Together, we’re running to raise awareness for men’s health—mind, body, and spirit—and to support those who might be struggling in silence. Each kilometre represents a conversation started, a barrier broken, and a stronger community built through movement and mateship.
